Cold rainy weather has hit hard here, with wild temperature fluctuations. The spinach is getting large, the beets, radishes, turnips, rutabagas, peas, beans, and canton bok greens have all been thinned and are coming along nicely. Lettuce has been planted. The okra and borage have sprouted, and the strawberries are turning red. Im starting slow and small thus far, but I feel really grateful. I have more space to fill and a larger fence to construct... Getting ready for the next bout of planting- a large number of different things will be going in. Herbs especially. I'm waiting for the Temps to stabilize a bit. I heard this is the first time in about 60+ years that farmers have waited so long before planting corn. Well, unpredictability is part of it. If I can do this, anyone can. Photos to come soon!!
