I wanted to start a fun little creative mystery saga tonight. The lighting isn't the best in my little sewing corner yet, but I got myself in there today and completely lost track of time starting this next project. I'm not going to spoil the mystery end product(s) just yet, but will be posting updates as this progresses. It will all be a part of a larger article and then part of the growing material for the Studio page eventually. I hope you all have fun trying to guess what I am up to with this project. <3
First pic is of the rag bucket containing yards of 2" strips of accumulated fabric. The second pic shows the next part of the assembly line with the pile under my sewing cabinet of the strips than have been sewed together, forming one long strip of randomly selected pieces from the scrap bucket. The third pic is the finishing part of the strips into the growing pile behind the sewing machine.
And I will be leaving the first entry into this mystery Boheme Ragamuffin saga there for now. Feel free to comment whatever comes to mind, including guesses as to what I am up to. Have fun!!!
And here is a fun little diddie by a friend of mine back in Wyoming at a show where my mother's family were some of the the first settlers. Hope it gets you in the mood for this little project. The song kept playing through my head while I was sewing away. <3
